The Visionary

Rafeea Noorhassan Roche is a Brooklyn-born daughter of Guyanese parents, a woman of faith, and the grounded force behind her family and community. With her Chief in life — her husband — leading beside her, she stands strong raising their three children with love, grit, cultural awareness, and deep intention. Together, they run 1 Heartbeat Life Savers, serving Hillsborough County with lifesaving CPR, BLS, ACLS, and First Aid training.

Her blended family — African American, Haitian, Bahamian, and Guyanese — shaped her understanding of identity, belonging, and the emotional landscapes families navigate today. With a BBA in Marketing & International Business, fluency in Spanish, and international studies at the University of Salamanca in Spain, she brings global insight into every space she enters.

Rafeea has spent over a decade supporting women, children, and multicultural families through uncertainty, transition, and moments where they need grounding. She is the person everyone calls — for clarity, direction, childcare support, comfort, or a voice of reassurance. Kids naturally gravitate to her; she has always been the “I got you” babysitter, mentor, and safe place for little ones.

Her journey into this new chapter began after years of owning and operating her own childcare facility in Orlando. Becoming a new mother while running a school brought pressure, exhaustion, and emotional strain she could no longer ignore. And while she was pushing through the weight of burnout, her husband was making sacrifices of his own — commuting from Orlando to Tampa to serve Hillsborough County, carrying long shifts, and holding their family steady in ways that meant more than he ever realized. His sacrifices did not go unseen; she felt every mile, every moment, every quiet act of love.

When he encouraged her to release what was draining her and choose peace, she listened with love and respect — and let him lead. It became the best decision of her life. She holds deep gratitude for his strength, his heart, and the life they’ve built together.

Today, Rafeea serves as Co-Founder and Resource Director of the Broward Mom Collective, a long-standing member of the Muslim Women Organization, and a Lead Instructor in the Boss Women Entrepreneurship Program, mentoring women toward confidence, leadership, and financial independence.

Her approach is unconventional — spiritual, strategic, intuitive, and rooted in real lived experience. She is committed to helping families heal, rise, and rediscover themselves one story and one generation at a time.

This is the woman who believes in possibility, legacy, and lifting others as she rises.

If you really want to know how it all began, you have to start with me — Rafeea — a 4'11 Brooklyn-born, Guyanese-rooted woman who carries intuition like a compass and dreams like a mission. I’ve always been the one who leaps first, figures it out later, and trusts the path even before it reveals itself. That’s just who I am — layered, unpredictable, misunderstood by some, and completely at peace with that.

I’m the risk taker in our home, the one who says “why not?” when the world says “wait.”
And the irony?
I married a man who literally runs into burning buildings… yet prefers every decision made with structure, precision, and a full tactical plan.

My bestie Annie laughed and said:
“Risk taker? Girl, that man saves lives, and runs into burning buildings for a living!”
And she’s right — he does. But he does it with a calm, a discipline, and a focus that anchors everyone around him.

His motto has always been:
“Everyone goes home today.”
Those words stitched themselves into our family and eventually into the foundation of this business. 

He didn’t always see how gifted he is — steady, brilliant, intuitive, and built for leadership in ways he doesn’t even realize.
So I did the only thing that felt right:
I held the vision for him, and God brought it to life in His timing. 

And that belief became the heartbeat of this entire company. Truthfully? You may not see me out on the field. I’m the behind-the-scenes force — the strategist, the organizer, the quiet storm who moves things forward while he teaches, leads, and protects. When he’s out there, I don’t need to worry. I know he’s got it. That’s our balance. That’s our rhythm.

And me? I’m a little bit of everything — spiritual, strategic, intuitive, creative, unpredictable… and very different from what most people think I am at first glance. But I like it that way. A little mystery never hurt.

I allowed myself to dream — to dream BIG.

And look where it led us:
on the path to becoming one of the leading medical training companies in Hillsborough County.

We didn’t build this in a boardroom. We built it in late-night talks, whispered prayers, shared vision, and the courage to say yes when everything felt too big. This is what happens when love meets purpose, when belief meets action, and when two people decide that legacy starts with one bold step.
